I drew the pbass. I don't recall the rules prohibiting participants from using models, so I used that picture as one. If you really want to know how it was really done in MS paint, here's the breakdown.

1. Sketch lines with the Curve tool. (The 6th tool on the right side of the Tool box)
2. Painstakingly pick and define custom colors. (This is done by double clicking on any color box in the color palette)
3. Use Airbrush (5th tool on the left side) and slowly fill in from top to bottom. (E.g., Bright green, darker green, brown, and black in the case of the driftwood in the back)
4. Obviously the Airbrush is messy, so I had to redraw the lines again using the Curve tool. (This explains the variable width of the lines in my avatar)
5. Use Brush or Eraser to remove any messiness outside the line

It took patience, perfectionism, and days to finish. It's not as simple as it sounds.

who cares what everyone says

damn man you got skill

Well, like I said before, if you didn't cheat, then all this talk is a testament to the validity of your skill. Well done, I hope to reach that level some day. :)

If you did cheat, may your face be eaten by the arowana. ;)

j/k man

P-Bass......can you say cut and paste?A little filter action? I am a tattoo artist and have to replicate all types of things but this is too good....I dont agree that this was done legitamately. A Few of these are just WAY too clean.....the line work really speaks out.....300x300 pixels makes the lines look VERY lunky when you TRY to make a perfect circle....Shading as well....at 300x300 every dot is perdominant and is easily seen. Also, where is the creativity in that?

1. Sounds like you need to spend more time on MS Paint, a computer program, than someone's biceps. Give this a try: Launch MS Paint. Click on the Line tool (6th tool on the left side) and select your desired line width (I picked the 2nd one). Click on the Ellipse tool (last tool on the left side). Select the 2nd option with Fill & Line. Select your foreground color by left clicking on a color (e.g., black) and background color by right clicking on a color (e.g., blue); this will set your Line and Fill colors respectively. Move the cursor to the drawing space, press and hold down the Shift key while you draw a perfect circle. Pick the Brush tool (4th tool on right side), pick the size of the bush (I picked the large round one), select white and click on the surface of the circle to make a reflection of the bubble.

2. Try to color & use the right tools at the right time without creativity. Apparently you couldn't. Maybe you could help me by showing me how to filter a picture to produce such clean and pixelated line arts in Photoshop.

3. I think this is more creative than your oh-so-original wave:http://www.thinkforward.org/images/p_fuji_300.jpg

4. What does "lunky" mean? I'm curious. Dictionary.com defines "lunk" as a stupid person; UrbanDictionary defines "lunky" as "mix breed of lobster & monkey" or .. "erect nipple".

5. And if you really want to learn more about MS Paint, I just found out that DeviantART.com has really good resources and tutorials. Try searching for MS paint.

so vote for me~~~

Listen :newbie:

1. You jump into defense like LIARS do

2. No need to S#$T Talk and google searching things to make yourself feel better.

3. What the hell are you trying to prove, trying to break me down with your #1,2,3,4 , I did so cause its amusing...

Anyhow, you STOLE an image from the internet. Everyone knows it, and you think your some kinda MS Paint prodigy. Trying to make people believe you. Listen, I'll get the ORIGINAL from Neo and examine it myself. And if you dont know what lunky means and looked it up, thats just pitiful. My wave with the monster fish "M" IS ORIGINAL unlike yours....I take PRIDE in it. Something you gotta give a try sometime. It is a FREEHAND design and if your going to throw a link to a famous woodblock print, show RESPECT and show the original. also, it is not EXACTLY the same and IS a tattoo style I studied, irezumi....Well, thats all taken care of........please dont flame at me, *** people are FLAMERS.;)

I just wanna make sure who wins does so by the rules.

I'm with you, you did an excellent job and deserve to win. All the people attacking you saying you cheat are the "flamers". If they can't hack that your better then them on paint, who gives a ****. You deserve to win you did a great job, and you picture looks the best.
I was going to use the Lei in the picture of the prize, its not cheating or unoriginal. Im sure no one draw a fish without having a picture to refer to, it just yours looks best.

MistirE, your the newb and apparently *** via your words. Why are you allowed to voice your side of an arguement and if anyone has an opposing oppinon or wishes to defend themselves they are Newbies, or flamers, or *** or dictators or anything else you chose to call them. You wanna give yourself the best chance of winning by claiming anyone with more votes the yours is cheating, so go have a  :newbie:
