Vulture cat

just wondering if anyone has kept a vulture cat with rays before if so what was the out come

I have had one for a few years now and although I dont keep rays, I've had him with some smaller fish with no problems. I read they can be quite nasty but mine doesnt see to bother anyone.

TheMule has/had one too.. don't think he had his with rays? but he said his was a tame cat...

We picked up a 16" one from TUIC a few weeks ago. It isn't nasty, but it eats anything it can fit in its mouth ... reports from nature are that it will gleefully attack wounded fish, thus the name machete cat. Beautiful fish, but I'm not certain I would trust one with rays or anything else of value.

im blowing the vulture cat idear out to risky a shame as they are nice

Had one years ago, got it up to about 20", never had a problem with it eating anything, there reputation is not deserved at all. get it Richard im sure you wont regret it
