Vulture catfish

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
So far.. the care of ones that I have been keeping is relatively easy. They are not fussy eaters but they are quite aggressive when food is offered. Seems like the vulture cats grow rather quickly. The vulture cats are outgoing fish as well.

What's the average size ?

Get up to 18inches in home aqauriums.

Thanks . Would u say £65 is a good price for one

Not sure as I've seen them for $60-100 here in the u.s. Depending on size. $100 and higher are for 12 inches and up. Maybe not the normal price as only what I've seen. Hope that helps alike. Where do u live? Dont recognize the currency symbol and I don't want to assume.

I'm uk and that symbol is the British pound

Got you friend!

My 6-pack has been quite easy for me. Eat anything.

Got them last Aug at 3"-4". They are roughly 14"-18" right now. Live in a 4500 gal with a hundred tankmates, many of whom they could take down but have not.

They have a ferocious reputation but I've not had or read of problems in captivity.

Agressive feeders and definitely not finicky. Have yet to offer any type of food that they refuse. And very active. Sort of a poor mans Lince (-:
