I think he will grow couple of inches per year but no growth spurts as such. The divider is for a gravid ray so the pups dont get eaten and it runs across the tank so is 8' x 3.5' .coming out once shes had her pups

Bad news on the vundu somehow managed to get a very deep open wound under his mouth. Still eating and acting fine been few days now. Just hope it heals up. 
I wish vundu and several other amazing catfish were legal in the us, I’m always a tad bit jealous when I see others keeping them.
Do you have any idea what caused the cut? I don’t believe a stingray barb did it given how clean the cut is. Given how neat it is it looks like a knife went through it to me.

Yeah def not a ray barb. I can only assume his done it on a floating cage i have in there. How he managed to do so much damage i have no idea. Its a very neat cut and down to the bone.
