Seems high quality to me.

Its just an ugly ol' common Oscar. Hate Em.....lol. I would suggest a Jag or Dovii, maybe a true rt to compliment your predator tank

:ROFL::banhim:

The true WC's I've seen have (what looks like) striped bodies, not blotched. I've never owned a WC so my opinion may not count. Either way-if it's an Oscar? It's worth having. Go get him :-)

Nah, it's not a predator tank it's a SA/amazon biotope. Cichla, rays, red hooks, pike carachins, black aro's, niger cat, that kind of stuff. While I agree that Oscars are overdone (like jags) this one caught my eye. I like that he isn't line bred or a crazy colour morph, natural is the look I'm going for.

looks as natural as I've ever seen, and appears to be very healthy too . . . don't like oscars at all, but this one looks like a real fine specimen

So I picked this guy up yesterday and he's cruising in the 300G. No aggression problems with the bass or pike so far. I glad I picked him up, adds a nice contrast to the intensity of the bass. He just cruises around; he likes to swim to the top of the water and float down on his side, it's hillarious. I'll post pics later.

Wow. He looks like he could be related to my wild O from Peru! Mine's got stronger speckling and almost no gray on him, but the distribution of markings is strikingly similar. They both have that smoky/bronze lower half of the caudal fin and body, too. Love it! Score.
