Pump and Overflow are rated at 1200 gph...I wanted about a 10 x per hour turnover. Water quality is pristine. I've had things like 8 rays in there to about 20 medium to large fish in there when I had to take down another setup with not even a trace of ammonia. I do water changes every 1-2 weeks depending on what the test kits say. I gravel vac once a month and flush the filter once every six months. I will never go back to canisters again, LOL.

Why build them when you can take your next vacation here in sunny Florida... cuz I still need to find a home for about 75 tanks.

U mean thats ure only form of filtration on the tank>>>?? damm..

I have 2 Aquaclear 500's on the tank as well just with sponges in them to pick up excess tank gunk. As far as the how-to, I'm still looking for the pics....
