W/D Size for 300G???

I am going to be making a diy wetdry for my 300g. How big of a sump will it need. I have a bunch of bio balls and potscubbers to put into it.

I have a spare 60g to convert into the filter, or I was thinking about getting 2 40-50g tubs with (4) plastic storage drawers with 3-4 drawers each. I would use the first drawer to hold the filter pads and the rest to hold media.

What route would be better?

I used a 55g for the sump on my 300 and it works out perfectly.

I would use the spare 60g.

I ended up going to home depot and got 2 50g bins & 2 large storage shelves with 3 shelves each.
I am not to worried about the looks as thay will be in the stand. I am looking at what can fit the most media.

Chad if you can afford your big tanks you can afford a wet dry or atleast go with the 60g you cheap ass

I have a rack system ( I will have, a total of around 400gallons ) All running off a 29gallon tall w/d. If it dosent work though, i'll proably use a spare 45gallon.
