Sweet pickup :)

Looking forward to pics!

Enjoy your new aro. I raised my 2 inchers separated in bare tanks with sponge filters. The sponge filter allows them to graze uneaten food in between meals. I do 30% to 50% water changes (with aged water) every other day.
Here's a pic of a new arrival. The golden color is mostly from the flash. Notice the back of the aro just before the dorsal fin. It looks thin and slightly concave. There's no fat deposit (probably due to purging the fish for shipping) for it to draw on between meals. So, keeping food constantly available is critically important.

Here's the same aro just shy of 3 months later. It's 6" and growing like a weed. Notice here how the back has filled out. Now, he has some fat reserves and I don't need to worry if I have to miss a feeding here and there..

i want an african

Mine and Christophers are still doing well.
One in a 55 and one in a 75 eating live black worms, blood worms, brine shrimp, shrimp pellets and mine tries to hit the krill, but he just can't get it in his mouth.
They're both VERY active, constantly swimming all over the tank.
Not just top dwelling.
They go all through the decorations and all.
They're crazy.

Thanks OddBall for the tips.:hearts:

Chris get some ****ING PICS UP!!
