Duly noted but what gets me is how these illegals who live and work here actually have the nerve to complain and protest when things don't go their way..

i feel the people that do come here and complain are cowards.
they come here and do it knowing nothing will happen to them..
let them go back to thier "homeland" and protest and see what would happen.

IMO, why hasn't he become a citizen yet? He's only been here how many years now, and he's gone through high school & college by the sounds of it? As a result, I wouldn't let him get the license until he becomes a citizen provided that citizenship is one of the requirements.

Everyone who is saying that we wouldn't have unemployment if it wasn't for aliens...would you mow lawns, pick fruit, and scrub dishes for minimum wage? I didn't think so. While I agree that it should be easier for them to get visas and be here legally, they wouldn't come if americans weren't refusing to do the horrible dirty work. And you might have missed this article too. http://finance.yahoo.com/news/tide-turns-on-border-crossing.html
Also +1.

I still don't get how an illegal alien can go threw grade school middle school high school and college with out being turned over as being illegal someone isn't doing there job. Also no he should not be given his licence until he is legal why is this even up for debate it's common sense.

On the Americans wouldn't do these jobs for minimum wage part of this 1 they don't pay them minimum wage and 2 you'd be surprised what high school kids will do for minimum wage.

High school kids, really? Around here they have to bus in aliens to detassle corn because the kids refuse do it anymore. And why would someone want to work for minimum wage or less when they can do nothing all day and make more from welfare?

Then the higher wages results in a higher cost of goods and services. People will then buy more imported items because they're cheaper.

I feel for the kid since he was brought here at nine years old and had no choice. However, he's had time to go through law school and through our education system. As a lawyer , he knows he needs a citizenship. He's obviously not lazy, just go take the damn test
