Waddya Think Of My Plans?

I just painted my house a couple years ago and I have a bunch of left over exterior paint so sealing them would be no problem. And as far as sheathing the bottom of the top deck wouldn't that be redundant if the joists were sealed or painted?

Yes and no, yes because its another way to help keep the beams dry, which you obviously want to do- and no its not redundant because it will add to the structural rigidity the way it does when plywood is added to the sides and back of an open stand
