To be honest it seems like your are trying to talk yourself into buying it. I think you could find something better for cheaper. Have you tried the Aussie FH forum?

10cm is around 4". In the next 2-3 months its gonna grow around 2-3" which it might not do in a smaller tank like a 20 gallon unless you really keep up with the water changes.
 
Not talking myself into it..was answering questions.

And i have contcted 22 sellers from both australian fh forums and got the below...price ranging from $350-$600And for the last one...they wanted $1k..big guy.

So yeah mine cost more :-(

The one you are getting, its over priced and going off the pic it looks photoshopped. If its not photoshopped then the camera is not capturing its real color. Its a shortbody which some don't care for and its kok is kinda small. I guarantee you its not what it really looks like. Also it doesn't look like the same fish in the picture of it you posted.

How much is this one, much nicer than the one you plan on getting (in my opinion)? This would be my choice. Given the right conditions (cleaner water and blue background) I think its pink body would be more red than it is now.

If this one didn't have what looks to be duck lips and an odd shaped kok, I would say get this one.

This one is also nice but would need to see a bigger picture of it.

Picked up fish..will post pics tomoro once hes not as stressed. And damn the seller had strong.lights..all pearl and color showing...lol i cant match those lights...but tomorrow i show pics...of only one kamfa malau in australia!

Oh yeah chris the first one is a breeding machine...hes full grown bro...i just thought the younger one has chance to develop more..i honestly wanted a youngin not fully grown...since i enjoy raising fish more than a short term display.

Flowerhorns lose life span when bred alot... So many factors played into mind when deciding on the large one you mentioned.

Also his tank today had like 100 nitrate...instantly did large water.change...amonia and nitrite all zero. Post pics when im home.
