So about a month ago I asked the owner of my LFS if he would potentially bring in some retropinnis, well, he tried and they were supposed to come in last weekend - I got there and the dealer had sent extra ornates instead

Attempt 2 is set for this week's shipment at some point thursday or after, how much you guys wanna bet I end up with a moke?

Will get pics whenever I finally get my hands on it, hoping it comes in as a retro but mokes are cool too

Actually I asked him to get me one of those and he was kinda like 'eh, too similar to senegals to bother'

You guys got me wrong, I wouldn't be mad if I got a moke, it was just a joke at the fact that I got the wrong one before and really am thinking there's a strong chance it'll happen again

Pray hard he does that. Ill buy the whole lot, take a drive to a reputable LFS and sell them for a profit

Trust me, I am kinda hopeful. the thing is they do a lot of oddball fish but his polypterus knowledge doesn't stretch that much farther than your basic sen/ropefish/del/ornate and since mokes used to be known as retros, you see where my smartass comment comes from lol. However I did tell him 'Zair Green' just to be sure after it got botched the first time, so I guess I took away more/less any chance of another mishap lol

I once saw an ansorgii x end hybrid in one of her tank. Thinking I can try to buy it as an end since they are pretty cheap here, I approached her and asked her "how much for the dark coloured end". She told me $75, ansorgii. And my mouth dropped... impressed and disappointed.
