i guess i didnt really care much because i never really go there for fish anymore.

Yes, Walmart sucks, but if you're going to protest, how about all the people who buy fish from them without doing any research? How about all the people who buy an RTC with knowledge that it gets to 6 feet and no way to house it? Walmart is just one piece of the fish abuse puzzle.

Yup. many people SAVE..... Walmart fish. And give Walmart their money for those SAVED fish.. only to help restock the tanks..

Here we have successfully ousted 2 stores of their fish selling.. Though an unexperienced lfs owner bought the equipment from one store and is doing much worse with the stock in their tanks than Walmart did... But They are not makin much money either.. Seemingly going out of business..

Well if thats the case, then we should go around policing several of the LFS's as well, because some of them are put to shame by WalMart.

They listen as well as walmart I'm afraid.. But.. When I go in and they are not making money.. they listen to that real well..

Usually I just conversate with the LFS owners... And the walmart employees... they ask my opinion and I give it.. Even in stock suggestions and maintenance practicies.... Not surprisingly at all.. Walmart employees are not necassarily hired to go directly to pets.. it is for the most part just a position along the way of cross training..

I don't think policing as you would have us do is a good idea Trust me.. If that is what you choose then more power to ya brotha Most people do not listen well when policing them..

Point is that it is pointless to focus on Walmart when there are many more places that are just as bad.

Maybe.. But is it really?

With out walmart keeping and selling fish.. you are deleting a good chunk of the worlds supply of diseased fish... and bad information.

To add.. Chances of getting an educated and good knowledgeble employee at a bad LFS are better than the odds of getting one at walmart.

There are some.. But still .
