I was in there the other night and the fish lady was trying to sell me glolite tetras as glofish... I was like... STFU. Only not really. I'm not that crazy.
 
well i almost did the same thing the other day. i hadnt heard of glofish before... or glofrogs for that matter. walmart usually does have good snails though

I'd go buy my snails there but I don't want to encourage the sale of poor abused fish. All the mfkers will hunt me down and jump me in the parking lot.

hahah only like 7 live around here and 5 are at petsmart.... so i dont think you need to worry about that too much

anyway whenever go in there anymore i cant even stop by the fish section cuz its just so painful to look at all the dying fish.... except it was funny the way their cories parked in rows and columns all facing the same way :ROFL:
 
Wal-Mart won't care if a bunch of people say that they're not going to buy fish from them.

Wal-Mart WILL care if 1,000 people from MFK sign a petition saying that they won't buy ANYTHING from them unless they take live fish from their stores.
 
sum it up real simple.... its a massive corperation... you are not changing them...

actually i dont even think that will affect them. thats like one store!
 
At the Wal-mart by my house the snail tank had a bunch of styrofoam peanuts in it. Went back a few days later and they were all dead. None of the fish there look healty.
 
lol i actually went into my walmart today for some food
anyway i stopped by the fish tanks and sure there were dead ones (lots in the tetras tanks.... come to think of it all the tetras looked horrible) but most of the fish looked alright. Provided they won't in like a week but i was actually surprised. i still wanted to save them all lol
