:iagree: Tack on a few 1000 other signatures from various other fish forums and animal protection groups and you got yourself a class action petition that corporate will be forced to look at. Tack on a few news broadcasters and Walmart will have to do something.

I don't think that they are perfect by any means, but they are better than most Walmart's I'v been to. I don't think any lfs is perfect. I do think that these fish are far better in our hands, thats why I buy my little friends. :D
The treatment of fish is only a tiny aspect compared to all the things wrong with Walmart. What an evil corporation.

i mean because its only been posted millions of times
guppies, mollies, platies and pacus arent much to protest about
livebearers breed dailey and have babies monthly. As for pacus they are far from being indangered. We have nothing to worry about. And its not like we can or will stop walmart from selling fish.

I'd rather have walmart sell fish they way they do than get PETA involved, since if it were up to PETA there would be no fishkeeping
 
I think something should be done. The diseases from Walmart fish killed my old Elephantnose, Shark Catfish, Pictus Catfish and Leopard Ctenopoma. I wrote them a letter telling them how bad they are. :D

After I added the Walmart fisht o my tank, the water quality got so gross that my Ghost Shrimps were jumping out and committing suicide. Honestly.

the diseases from walmart fish didn't kill your elephantose and the others, it was not quarantining the walmart fish properly that killed the fish.
 
I can see both side of what you are saying i going out on a limb and saying this i work for walmart and i am all ways over in pets helping them because they do not know much about what they have we had a guy working in pets when the new fish came in and he did not know what tank to put the oscars in and he put them in with our rosy red feeds when he came back there was no more rosy reds and he was like WOW some one just bought all of the rosy reds when i told him he had put the wrong fish in the tank he was like no i put them in the right one and i said oscars go in a tank all be them self long store short we lost all 5 oscars that day due to them eating them self to death but i do see where you are comeing from when you need people that know what they are going
