my post was deleted for some reason, even though it was on the topic of education and walmart. what im getting at is that walmart is not a great place to work or be in general, and they dont always have the best deals, petsmart, petland, petco will always have the market ALONG with special mom and pop stores that sell oddballs. some walmarts are good, but others really need help. sometimes i wish we almost did not have them, not saying like you should take them away all at once and watch people scream, but the marketplace in the US would be more capitalist and localized.Yanbbrox;2225809; said:Anyone can educate, that's the key, we don't have huge 'sell everything stores' over here, if we did then education would be the key
well at least petsmart and petco in my area have full time staff assigned to the fish department, where they do water changes and cleanings daily, and clean out dead fish. i think walmart leaves their fish tank lights on 24/7, thats really gotta be stressful for the fish, plus all the tanks are connected, so when their live plants died, the algae and stuff spread to all the other tanks.ladybirdnnex;2226195; said:I am in Wisconsin and the same here. They don't care. I have seen small pet stores the same way.I hate it and I have tryed to stop it but NO ONE CARES when it comes to money!! As long as people buy them they will sell them.Same goes with petco and petsmart and the way they (puppy farm birds). They should use local breeders first........
