That's the African Walking Catfish, right? So you are in an African country?

Thanks for the info, btw. :)

Nope, i'm from Singapore. Here we use clarias as feeders; you can get a bag of about 30-40 babies for 2 bucks. Some people use the bigger ones as baits for fishing. If you throw them into a pond, they can easily grow to a metre or more.

Ah, Singapore! :) I'm dying to go there! Already found a great store to buy a camera (even contacted them and negotiated the price) but can't seem to find anyone who's going to be flying to Singapore soon... Here the price for that camera is horrendous... I wish I could go myself... would have taken the opportunity not only to get all my photographic gear but to visit the various LFS, etc... heard the prices are very good...

lol! Well, Singapore may not be as interesting as you think. Do let me know if you are dropping by, i'll be glad to show you around. You can let me know which shop you are getting your camera from, just in case you get ripped off. And maybe you can even bring home an Asian Aro or some Channas :)

I'm pretty sure I'd love to to tour the place. :)

The shop is Cathay Photo Store Pte Ltd, situated
at the Peninsula Plaza... but I can't seem to find anybody to go there for me... a friend of mine, an air hostess, said that she might be able to buy the cam at the duty free shop at the airport but she doesn't know when she will be scheduled to fly to Singapore yet...

As in regards to buying some aros and/or channas :grinno: Sure! :D Channa Micropeltes! :D

Bro, i'd suggest you get your pretty air hostess friend to get the cam for you at the duty free shop. It's not wise to buy anything from Peninsula Plaza. Anyway we r digressing from fish already. LOL

Ok then, I'll get her to get it at the airport itself. :) Thank you for that.

As in regards to digressing, well, cameras and fish go well together. Check
