Walking catfish?

Caught on rod and reel on worm in Joshua Creek in Arcadia Fl. It's eyes were not pink but how strange it looked. It spined itself, hence the blood.

Looks like it spined itself when fighting. They are invasive, illegal to release even when caught from the same water. Wish I would have had a tank for him. Almost looks albino.
