walking perch questions

Hello,

i have resently come across a store said they can order walking perch or walking gaurimis which ever you prefer to call them, kinda having a hard time find infomation about them in a tank setting

i love all those odd balls anyone ever keep one??? what was your tank like? anything else in there with them?

I've never heard of a walking perch. I wonder if they are refering to a climbing perch which is known to walk across land. If thats the case, they arent much to look at but do have an attitude and will eat almost anything.
 
Sounds like a Climbing Perch. They're like a mild and legal version of a Snake Head.
 
Kept 2 of these guys myself, which I catched from a province here in the Phillipines. I really don't believe that they will climb out of the tank. From my experience, they are not really nippy, likes to hide. Kind of agressive with its own kind but not leathal just territorial or something.

maybe yours hides alot because its wild caught.
mine would swim around and bite everyone constantly.

Yep, its wild caught. I did said that i catched it myself from one of thr provinces here.
