Do some research first, if you're new to the hobby might as well read this http://www.aquaticcommunity.com/Tropical_Fish-A_Beginners_Guide.pdf BTW don't believe anything on the internet specially on 'merchandising pages', there are real ofcourse but some just like what Adamrhh said is quite scary and you'll be at the losing side if you do rush things.
 
Does anyone know any fish that I could put in there and if so how many I know that they would have to be 1 -2 cm as they would need enough room I would really like a neon tetra shoal what do you guys think ?

Even though this is for large fish forum I do also have a little 'for kids' view type of community fish, I'd say go for a 10-20gallon as it's too little for a school of fish which is quite popular in the hobby. But if you might well ask, go for corydoras, they're great at eating algae and do their thing best, might as well put a betta. Yep, pretty much that's all I can give.
