Reminds me of Arapaimag's reports on his 155 cm female leerii who killed 3' arapaima, 3' yarelli, 2' giant gourami, and who knows what countless else.

They're not spiny at all. They have no protection and can easily be killed.

To the op, that is a nice looking fish!
