has anyone ever kept these.local place has them for 2.95 for 5-7 inch.anything you could tell me would be great.tankmates? they would go in a 150 gallon tank .thanks ahead of time.ted

see my post, they are very shy and do not like a lot of lighting.

wow $2.95 that's a bargain man jump on it. I bought mine for $13.99 and another LFS here is selling one for $20 bucks a piece, dam that is expensive but maybe it's because of the season.

really.......mine were extremely shy and would only eat small minnows. I tried worms but no luck. I was going to try leaches next because that's what people use to catch them when fishing.

Dam I miss by walleyes....

Leaches,minnos,worms,dead smelts live would work to!
We jig our jig @ the bottom of the lake or the river!

I catch alot of walleye on leaches and minnows so try those first, and all fish love worms too

You'll need a bigger tank than a 150 gallon for a Walleye.

you will be fine for yrs with a 150 gallon...i think a 7 yr old walleye is between 23 and 26 inches...

I would go with a larger tank for a walleye in the long run.

Walleye sure aren't small. If you can find them I suggest a saugar as an alternative.
