which is unfortunately the truth i tried explaining to them on thursday and they were like yeah we'll take care of it and all they did was place a massive amount of ich medication in each of the tanks

OP, u really do not understand do u? Walmart is a company that is run, and employs people that 90% of the time dont care. I know i workd at 2. 1 store did 80 mil a year in buisenness the other cleard 160 mil a year(busiest walmart in US 2 or 3 years now). No one, let me repeat, NO one is assigned to care for the fish. They are assigind to fill the shelves in the pet area. Their only responsiblity(i.e. what they are paid to do) is stick the sticker up for the fish and feed them. they dont even add the fish themselves in many areas. Heck unless ur store is a mega store(such as the 160 mil a year one) then their is a great chance that those employees cover many areas of the store. at the 80 mil one, the pet employees also cover the cleaning and toilet paper items. which does more buiseness? So u can tell were thier prioritys lyed

couldnt have said it better myself. i also work at a walmart with a pet department, and the pet associate feeds, and scoops the fish while not filling the pet, cleaners, and paper aisles. They dont care, they get money back for their dead fish anyway, they just have to write them off after they find them dead..
