well with cold water you are going to have an ick problem thats why most peoples tanks are about 80*F so try turning up the temp and its should get rid of the ick

I see a lot of people on here keep cold water fish around 55-65 deg F. How do you keep the ick away.

Any kit never includes enough filtration. The heaters are usually really cheap too. The filters are fine as long as you want to keep about 3 fish in your tank.

The filter is no good,youll want a flourecent light within a week and the heater is cheap. best off finding best deal on a used or new bare tank then putting together what you want from online stores.Figure out what you want to keep before buying anything.
