Walmart Worms!

I know there are a lot of posts asking about worms for Bichirs but I was just making sure the worms at a store like Walmart are ok to feed?
If I pick up a box should I like for anything on it?
How they were fed.. ect?

ive gotten them from walmart and meijers with no problems, feedin them to my catfish and other fishes

I have feed worms from walmart and other stores to my fish for years with out a problem the only thing that I do to them is rinse them off before they go in the tank

I feed my clown knife a worm everyday, I feed the worm is sections so it's easier for him to digest

I've used the earthworms from walmart, and I rinsed them AND cleaned out the insides but pushing out all the dirt inside of them. I don't want my bichirs eating that junk.

I usually cut them up into pieces my fish can eat and wash them again

I try to use worms not from walmart. The worms i get from them always sem near death and the dirt is harder to clean off than the paper substrates of outdoors/fishing stores
