I have noththing against F&G I know they have to do their job:) but these wanna bees F&G guys are always talking shi# on our threads . Why?
 
State and federal wildlife agencies monitor online fish and reptile forums, so it's best to be discrete. For instance, I've personally been contacted by a USFWS agent regarding FRTs. :(
 
maybe they are warning people to keep their pie holes shut unless they want to talk to the powers that be about legality issues.

when in doubt i ask about it before hand. Also if i ended up with something of questionable legality i'd really like to know about it before i get a visit. Thankfully most states make it easy to find the info and if that fails i know of a very talented person at ferreting out wildlife laws so its easy to check :D.

I kinda agree, some laws are just plain stupid, like banning Pirahna in cold climate areas, where if they were released in wild they would die . Or flipping out if some hobbist wants a snakehead, which might crawl out of their tank and take over a whole ecosystem!
 
Heres a simple soloution.
If you live in a state that somethings illegal. Don't be a dumb**** and post a Buy/sell for it on an internet fourm.

Thats like posting a WTB for a sack of weed.

As a moderator on another site, I can assure you that any actions the staff take regarding the sales of restricted species are intended to protect the interests of the forum and members as a whole, not to "talk ****."

BTW, what's a "differents"? :confused:
