fish more comfortable with darker colors. ....feel hidden

i painted it.... black.. it looks nice filled up... i just need to get it a light. and then some feeder fish for my breedin project.. well the feeders i will breed. its only a 12 gallon eclipse but i got it at a garage sale yesterday..

just got done painting mine last week. just got my sand yesterday so i'm just waiting for the cycle to run. 36 hours has passed so far. seven brush painted coats for a nice full even black background.

i got a good idea.. i think?!?i have this three part spray paint called mirage, and it does the color shift thing from green to silver... i am thinking i will have to follow the steps in reverse but it should work an look pretty neat and much better than that sloppy vinyl background stuff,plus at a later date i could do that artsy scratch ,almost srimshaw stuff but i dunno it is a 90 gal.
