20 bucks for an 8" Silver? Cheapest I've seen for that size is 49.99.
I've seen quite a few adds of people trying to sell silvers, some of which had aros over 8" selling for $20 or less. Practically nobody wants them now. I was down at aquapets a couple weeks ago and they had 10" silvers going for 29.99.

I am going to take a picture of it tomorrow and post it up on here. If it is indeed a silver, it a the best looking one I have ever seen.

Are arows more colorful when they are young or is this perhaps just a good looking silver?

I hate to be blunt, but leave the aro at the store until you can realistically get a larger tank. As others have mentioned you'll need an 8' x 3' tank if you really want to keep the fish for life. People that have said a 150 or a 180 is enough have either never seen a full grown aro or are just plan inhumane. Silver Aros get huge.

Once he gets bigger, I can deffinatly get a larger tank. Plan on getting a large on in about 2 months.

Then dont get the aro until 2 months later, after you've bought, setup, and cycled, the bigger tank.

Just to give you an idea if the results of a small tank, take a look at the attached picture. One late upgrade, and this is the result.

pardon my lack of knowledge on Arowans, but I am not sure whats wrong with the arow? His spine I am assuming kind of looks hunched?

Also, the LFS that has this arow has kept him in a 10g tank for about 2 months. Obviously that is too small. Do you think that tank has already caused too much damage to the arow and would be a bad buy?
