I wan't a fish that show's interest in me and other people in the room
A real aggresive "show off" fish for my living room.
Does anyone have an opinion on what kind of fish that would be the best choice? Tank size does not matter, cus i'll adapt after the fish.
I've been thinking about, a giant snakehead, but my friend has one. Would be nice to try something different. Maybe a wolf?, just scared It's to boring.
Looking forward to your replyes![]()

If you want really aggressive fish that will show interest to people, i'll suggest Giant Gourami. Don't buy Red Tail Giant Gourami, it is less aggressive compare to other species of Giant Gourami (mind your own business kind of fish).
I suggest you to buy either ordinary giant gourami (grey colour) or Golden Giant Gourami (white colour).
5 years ago I had 2 feet Golden Giant Gourami that I bought from baby size (2 inch). He is really aggressive. He will charge to the glass when anybody come at least 10 feet of it's tank. I have to use a net to shield my hand when cleaning the tank, to avoid him from bitting me. He is really nasty, he kills any fish that you put in his tank. I have to give him away because he is too aggresive and people can't go near the tank. At one time he spill the water in his tank on my friend shirt. I am really angry at him.
Fun fish to have if you like fish that like to interact. However you need to be careful in choosing the Golden Giant Gourami because some of them is really peaceful and gentle (may be a female). When choosing this fish, tap your finger on the tank, if it come to the front towards your finger, this fish has high potential to be aggressive.
