Want a silver real bad

Smart decision, aros are wonderful fish, but definetly need alot of space
 
how big of tank does a jardini need, or doesit even make a difference.
 
When I first started with fish I grew a 6" aro to over 24" in a 125 within two years. I didn't have the money or space for a bigger tank and the poor guy ended up be so skittish from the cramped space he smashed himself to death against the lid....lesson learned, I have a 240 and a much, much calmer aro.

A jardini is smaller, but not as flexiable, so needs about the same size tank. IMO I'd go with a black aro, looks like a silver but somewhat slower growing and smaller adult size.
