I seriously thought about it for a couple of weeks.... You would have an increadable majestic fish and you know where you would have to keep it? in the basement behind closed doors. You couldnt show your friends and you could never tell anyone.
It would be a waste. A beautiful beast that you would have to keep as a dark secret. It would be too depressing.

Gooda - i know more than a few people that are like this.. they want a certain fish , but due to it being illegal they keep it to themselves and enjoy the fish privately. If you really got to have it, IMO its better to just keep quiet. Of course following the law is the best way... but if you cant resist, just keep it to yourself.

hrmm i never knew it was that serious.. i plan on putting my 300 in my living room and putting a red in there and show it off to all my guest i dont think any fish cops will come raid ur house and jack ur fish. but thats me. be my guest to come arrest me any cop ppl. but no matter what im getting that red!!! You can certainly do that. If you trust the people that come over into your house then by all means do it.

But can you really trust all the people that you deal with on the web ? and getting your home address is as easy as getting your ip and having your provider giving your account. Thats how they got those illegal music downloaders ...

Yes, you can. You're looking at a few yeasrs for some fish, and of course they take it away as well.

You'd be surprised with the type of firepower Fish and Wildlife can roll with. I've been involved with raids. It's not a pretty picture for the guy getting busted.

Zoo, i think your a little paranoid. first off \. do you know how many 12 year old kids are on here bragging they have an asain? prob all of them. the dnr cant go to everyones house. second NO ONE i dont trust comes in to my house. third, most of the people i hang out with wouls say cool fish... 2 of my friends do the fish hobby. 99% of the people i know wouldnt know what an asain is. lastly from the very begining of this thread i said hypotheticly. chill out man. friendly conversation.

You know, I doubt that the DOW gets very many illigal fish... especially when all you have to do to get some of them is go fishing.... But if the police come knocking on your door they don't really need a lot of fire power. I don't know very many people that answer the door with a .45 in arms reach, and if they do then they probably have something a little bigger going on in there then illigal fish. But still, the less police that come to my house the better. Even if it is hypothetically speaking.
