???
I have been doing some shopping around and looking at different types of arowanas i love the blue/black ones and i really want one. My local pet shop says they can get me a baby one with the egg sack still attached but i have read that they are very hard to care for when they are that small, I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with them at that stage and if you have any advise for me.:feedback:

I personally have not but my best friend has and he bought 3 and 1 survived it's a gamble.

the ones with the egg sack attached are $150 and the ones without are $300 to $500. they said they could get one in but thats a lot of money that i just don't have right now. thanks for your input maybe i will just get a silver for now.

HAHA wow. You must be in the middle of the mountains and the LFS only one within hundreds of miles. You could order one online + shipping for cheaper thrn $300.

You can easy find Black Arowana online in much better price !

i found a silver that looks very healthy keeps moving and eats healthy, but is still very small around 3 inches, has no egg sack attached. are they less fragile after egg sack is gone even at this small size???

IMO the "safest" is to wait until its over 6". In any case, as long as the egg sac is gone, 3" should be okay as long as the aro is healthy and you're doing things properly.
