Want catfish but not River Monsters

Lima shovelnose doesn't get too big as far as monster catfish go. Only probably about a foot. Someone here said a bullseye cat, I have one of those. They're cool. I had a bullhead catfish too. He only got about 13 inches full size, so fairly small.
in my eyes there really isent a cat out there other then a few spices of tsn that even come close to the body color and nothing that comes close to the eligence of a tig. i want one so bad but the cheapest i found one in my area is almost 300$. and i dont have a tank yet to house one unless i set up my 60/75 tall tank but i dont think it is wide enuf for it
Gulper fits the bill. They only get to about a foot. They are semi active. I feed mine once a week and they are active near feeding time lol. # one reason is they are cool. I never got a "we auta have a fish fry" comment from my idiot non fish keeping friends when the looked at the gulpers...

BumbleBee catfish aka bambi catfish are pretty neat, they dont get huge... around 8-12 inches, mine is really cool, it has really neat patterns in the fins that are see-thru, at least mine is...
