The tail does look like a castexi's. It could of come from a hybrid that breed with a normal motoro. I would just call it a motoro with unique markings.

If it had black ray in it, wouldn't it have large distinct spots on the tail?

Not all the time. Moto mojo is strong.

Looking at the tail I think dark Otorong mix Motoro.

i still say a regular nice looking peru motoro.... but there is no 100% way to tell if it did have something crossed with it... just opinions...
