Want to get a frog....

I have always liked frogs, but one thing that has always turned me away is the nocturnal calling. Are there any species you can reccomend that dont croak at night?

I err towards tree frogs as my favorite.

This will be a 25G tank

The thing is I really want one that I can handle, and pac mans can give quite a bite.

Just get females, it's only the males that call. I personally love the sounds of frogs...any frogs, and would love it if my gf's African dwarf frogs would sing. I used to love sleeping to the sound of my ACF's singing, right in the middle of winter and I could still hear frogs.

I really like dumpys and green treefrogs. (esp red eye)

the only frogs i have that croak are grey tree frogs.......they are loud enough to keep a entire house awake! im trying to find a new home for mine because they are so loud!

Those croak loud too?! Man just got 2... Isn't 9 pacific tree frogs 3 western toads and a woodhouse toad enough?

I like the frog noise. ^_^ (Woodhouses are horrible and creepy though.. )

I would try a whites tree frog but dont get the green trees because i had one and i had to end getting rid of it because it was so loud

the croaking is one of the best parts of keeping frogs (if you don't like sleeping)
