imo the best frogs are the poison dart frogs (captive bred of course). you should not handle any frog, as most secrete small amounts of toxins from their skin. While dart frogs may be a bit more on the $$ side, they are beautiful to look at, and you can collect all sorts of them and keep them together, just make sure yoru cage is humid/ misted frequently.
