want to get a goby

No goby will get along with that. Maybe a water cow or a jade goby but I think your looking at an expensive meal for your fish.

im really digging that jade goby if i found one ill be sure to pick him up and ya all my fish are pigs as it is
 
no way in bonkers will i put a sleeper goby in a 55. btw correct me if im wrong but isnt jade goby another name for dormitator maculatus?

So to answer you original question, neither. Focus on your current fish and getting a tank big enough for them instead of adding another poop factory to make your time that much shorter before the tank crashes.

my sleeper goby is a beast.....hes about 8'' now and has an amazing purple tint to him....gets along perfect with my jag, escondido, dorado, endli, and wolf fish in a 125g....
