I got mine at 4-5" last December and raised it in a 40g. Feed it guppies for a week, while tempting it with small cut market prawn. It eventually ate the prawn within 1.5 weeks. Then, I dumped in Hikari sinking pellets, it gobbled them up as well.

It is now is 7-8", and eats the same pellets, but massivore pellets is too big to swallow unless I break it into pieces. Also, still feed prawns once or twice a week and fast the fish every Sunday. Good Luck.

i just dumped in some guppies and my tig takes a few each night. i try to supplement its diet with sinking pellets, bloodworms, and a little bit of brine shrimp. the guppies are also reproducing in my tank so maybe i can hold off on buying feeders for a while :)

i forgot to mention that my tig likes to hang out under a piece of driftwood that gets a lot of water flow from an ac70. the temp is stable around 80 degrees.
