well yeah hadnt thought of that but still getting a tank that size through an appartment door is impossable unless it was assembled inside like a ray pond could be. just saying it should be made more beleivable

its a myth so some details may have been lost. It could have been assembled or the apartment may have had double doors.

This is retarded. I don't see whats so intresting in this supposed myth. i doubt they will try this. I also don't think 7x5x4 will break threw the floor. For it to break i would assume it would have to have a rather small length x width and a monster height. a 2x2x33.5 LxWxH would more likely break threw the floor.

be really hard to get something this expensive donated as well... i would like to see it but dont think it will happen....

who's penny was it anyway?

I think I covered that a while ago...

As I said before I think we need to stick to bigger tanks on the second for, because essentially the second floor is built like the first floor. So the second floor should be able to handle the same weight.

So that should be the myth there, weather the second floor can hold the same size aquarium fully loaded with substrate decor and water as the first floor without failing, and what is the typical failing point of the floor built to the average minimal building code...

Sure it would....4ft tall..turn it sideways....the door would only need to be 4'+ wide and 5'+tall...still plausible..

how many 4' doors have you seen? especially, in a apartment? taking patio doors off the tracks would be the only way to get a minimum 4' tank in and out of a house... and i don't think there are many apartment buildings LOL with patio doors...

maybe this was already mentioned, but why not change it and say the tank was built in the appartment...wouldn't that make it a little more plausible?

IDK why everyone is so against this. If you don't like the idea, don't post...it's that simple, lol.
