Ok i just picked up Parasite Clear after reading this fourm and a bunch of others who claim the exact same thing. The one i grabbed is the one mentioned: Parasite clear from Jungle and i just dosed the tank 1 and a half hours ago. I just noticed small little white things on the glass (u have to look very hard!) so i pulled out a maglifing glass and was able to see them walking around slowly and dieing!

This stuff is great to every1 who is thinking about using it, trust me

Package says it cures :

Gill Mights
Gill Flukes
Fish lice
ragged tailfin
Anchor worm
& Body Flukes

What about copper safe, or Aquari-Sol, the meds that have soluble copper salts. Supposedly it prevents mild protozoan, ich, and velvet out breaks.

Got to be careful with the copper it is a major poison to much and your fish are gonners.

as i said before im convinced that parasite clear is an awesome product, heres another update: its the next morning after i used it and my elong is swimming around the tank fast! and exploring like a shark does. He looks way more energetic then before kinda like he had a ball and chain on him this hole time and hes finally free , lmao

I will be dosing my new piyara tank tonight after work, cant wait.

Qestion tho, do these parasites come back eventually? should the tank be doesed like once a year or somthing? and are there any known ways that cause these parasites in captivity? other then feeders of course (wich i dont feed to any of my P's so the parasites must be from the wild)

probably a good idea to re dose after 6 months or a year. sometimes if the parasites are still in egg state the med might not kill it, I think.
we feed our p' raw, with uncooked food there's always a chance of having parasites on them. IMO and cooked food is not good for them..
