yea i knew about the last one but i thought that was it for a few years
well i think we will have to sort out a final meet in manc before u go and actually make sure people go...like rambo MWAHAAHAHAHAHA

That was the plan, but i'm really not enjoying my current job so thought **** it, may as well go now.

You can try and organise a meet if you want but I really don't know the time scale for us going, could be a month could be a year (hope not!)

The easiest thing for you to do is to not bring them.

This thread has the list of fish that are able to be imported to australia
http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=326073&highlight=australian+import

So basically if you have tetras or livebearers you can bring them along lol.
But even then you need to get approval to bring them which is alot of paperwork then youll need to find an AQIS approved quarantine facility down here to hold your fish for a certain period of time before they can be deemed safe to enter australia.
Its not worth the trouble really.

Cheers guys.

Had a read through and going to sell up and order from scratch once i'm setup over there. One of the few fish i really wanted to take is on the noxious species list anyway! Will just need to find a decent Perth LFS and a custom tank builder if anyone can recommend them:D

Good luck with it mate. I've been mulling over this move for 3 years now. We'll see.

Cheers mate, i should have gone last year if not before. Everyday here is a day wasted now.

Difficult to get a good quote of his without upsetting someone! Keeping comedic rascism alive and well:)

Additional edit: Just noticed the loach in your avatar, fancy 9 more if you're down Norfolk way before i go? Would rather my fish went to MFKers than back to shops.

Hey, yeh I may go in a few years, I'll see how my career pans out here.

I'd love them, however I'm never over that way, I'm down in Southampton. Also, check out my tank thread I may be overstocked already, but you never know Ha Ha! (muffled laughter):headbang2

ha ha, we've all been there, hence needing the upgrade to 1,000gallons which i now have to tear down! I don't think the loaches will be too difficult to rehome anyway.
