Is it possible to keep one pair of discus with angelfish?
Eight would be way too much in that tank.How many are suitable?

Most cichlids will create a pecking order.Discus are hardest to keep when they are young. They need frequent WCs and multiple feeding.Get Mature discus and avoid all the hassle. Discus are hardy IMO. Most would recommend 5 to spread out aggression. You could start with three but run into a problem if they pair up.
