It's an achara x tsn hybrid I got 2 1/2 yrs ago as a 4-6" baby. Pics are on here somewhere as Snookn21 was trying to identify a batch he got in a few months after....this one's slow growing, obviously, and very tame.

I have a suspicion that yours may be a hybrid between a TSN and a Leiarius pictus, not Leiarius marmoratus (which I suspect mine are - these are the most common - I have never seen one with such a large dorsal fin as yours)

mine did grow a foot in the first year, then tapered off. He never gorges himself, although I want him to grow so we can move him into the bigger tank. I'm not sure what cross he is exactly, my LFS tag only said achara x tsn. He's the only one I've ever seen there . I never had a salfin cat so I can't compare the dorsal to . I did luck out with mine not eating other fish and being so tame. The giraffe is always getting his bummy, but they always rest next to each other or the giraffe sits underneeath the hybrid cat.
cute.Mine are relatively picky eaters too. Always have been. Not consistently, as with Leiarius and TSN, but sometimes mine would start gorging themselves. Then stop.

do i have one of these? haha im trying to figure out what kind of catfish i have and it looks like this i cant figure out what hes crossed with.
