Wanting another tank

Anybody here have a wife/husband/boyfriend/girlfriend that won't let you have another tank?

I just want another 55g tank for CA Cichlids but the wife says no. Now, it's ok for her to buy a rotisserie, a turkey fryer, a rice cooker and a pressure cooker for herself, but won't let me have another aquarium, even though I'm the one that takes care of all the others. Interesting... I would really like to have about 125g, but I thought asking for a 55g would make it more likely. Oh well....

i deal with samething. but i just did it. i leave back to iraq in a couple of months so she cant be mean. i guess she just dosnt want to take care of another tank while im gone. i realy dont want her to either, so i didnt buy any more. so ya she won

yup! me too was planning on a 150G this month but i got the you have too much already speech so i bought a nikon d70 instead lol showed her who has the credit card.

how about getting rid of some smaller tanks (or "plan to") and convince her to let you go for a big one

My girl encourages my tank and fish purchases. She even helps!!!

This happened to me once and all I can say is that ... well, my garden is very lush.

Sounds like to me you need to put your foot down. I hope she doesn't she what your typing. She might slap you upside your head........LOL. All kidding aside bro, just go get a tank. Why can she get the things she wants but you can't?

My MUM (im 15) says "no more tank you have enough..." but this weekend i said mom im getting a larger tank, a 116g to be exact and im going to order it, well i guess she did not belive that i would do it, guess what i did it is coming on the 4th of feb. it set me back a bit cough hummmm $600. So im good for now.
