Wanting another tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
It's not fair to you bro, she gets to buy whatever she desires and won't let you just get another 55 gal.?? What Tha??? I say just go ahead and buy it.. matter of fact, buy a bigger one like 100, 125, 180 or better yet just buy the biggest one you can... and while transporting it home, stop by a convenient store and buy the best ear plugs that you can find... Oh yeah, and some type of pain reliever just in case she slaps you upside the head just as cougar579 mentioned! LOL :grinyes:

First of all let me say, THANK YOU for your service. Semper Fi!!! I spent 6 years in the USMC and went to Desert Shield/Storm. I really appreciate what you are doing for us. Good luck and come home soon! Get the another tank when you get home, you deserve it! :clap

Thing about me is I take care of the tanks, water changes, feeding, checking params....she does help when I do a full cleaning, meaning draining and such. Oh well, I may just keep hounding her until she gives in. :D

yup! me too was planning on a 150G this month but i got the you have too much already speech :( so i bought a nikon d70 instead lol showed her who has the credit card.

Hehehe....nice camera. I have a Fuji S2 Pro and love it. Takes all my Nikon lenses. At the time that I bought it a couple of years ago, it was better than the Nikon equivalent as it has better color reproduction. I wouldn't mind having the S3, more MP and a vertical shutter release, one thing the S2 doesn't have that I wish it did.

But you showed her! :woot: :clap :headbang2

how about getting rid of some smaller tanks (or "plan to") and convince her to let you go for a big one ;)

She kinda wants me to get rid of the 29g saltwater. But I think she'll just say no anyway. I may try that route though, I suppose it might work.

Ahhh, this makes me feel good.

My girl encourages my tank and fish purchases. She even helps!!!
the 2000 gallon indoor pond should become a reality (if i can get the glass for the front of it soon)

She's definitely a keeper! Does she have a sister? :naughty:

 I'm tempted believe me....all I really have to do is keep hounding her. What's more amazing, is she is dead set on getting me and XBox 360, which I don't really want. She found 1 right before Christmas at a pawn shop for $800. She seriously considered buying it! I was like hell no! Imagine what I could get for $800? Something that would give me way more pleasure than a game. I'm not very good at video games, so it ends up frustrating me and I go watch my fish to relax. Go figure. Oh well...I'll keep trying.

Yeah, my girlfriend keeps giving me hell about the number of fish tanks I have. I have 6 tanks at home. I would love to have more set up at home, but she nags and nags about the number already. I am lucky to have 15 tanks set up at work. A bunch of 10 to 40 gallon tanks with a pair of 75 gallon tanks.
She knows about the one 75 that I secretly bought last spring. She doesn't know about the other one that I bought as well as the other 75 I have at another office. She doesn't care about the fact that my growing jags and small wolf cichlids need larger tanks.

Oh well, I have pretty much run out of space at work to stack up tanks on racks that I have built.
I haven't bought a tank in about 2 months. I am just saving up some money for a 180g that I will need for some of my bruisers.

Good luck with trying to get the new tank.

Turkey fryers work as hospital tanks, heheh.
