Wanting To Purchase Arowana

Thats more like a 55gal. 12" wide wouldn't hold an arowana for vey long at all. But you could get away with three months depending what size you got him at. But you do relise, that when you say 3 months it will be close to 6 months? I was hoping to upgrade back in 2007, and only now I am getting a 6' at last.

They will jump whenever they're scared. Doesn't matter what size, I've seen small 3"ers jump. And becuase your tank is only 12" wide, Id suggest that you save up and just get a tank where you can house the aro for the rest of its life before you get the aro. The fish should be the last thing to buy. In case after 3 months you still can't get a 240 and your aro grows too big for the 75 as you can never be 100% sure when you will change. Better to upgrade before getting the fish.
