Give them time. They grow very quickly until 6 inches. At this point, growth rate eventually slows down. They can be rather pushovers though getting their lion's share of food.essy;2373620; said:

I'd really like some sort of bottom dweller/catfish-type. We have some pictus catfish, some Pyjama Catfish.. are these too small for this tank? I think a pictus would be really cool in there. I plan on using a AC110 and FX5 for filtering this, as when I get the 150+ gal I'll throw the FX5 on that. Would a pictus be okay to put in it?
