warm climates and natives

Local springs are 72 year 'round, a local pond I fish in hits high 80s... you should be fine. Depending of course on what exactly you are planning on keeping...

If you are worried about water temps maybe you should get natives from the south east. I live there and I catch fish from water that is almost to warm to swim in. high 80s to low 90s wouldn't be unusual and the fish live well in it. Most native fish will tolerate warms temps through the summer and only require cold water to trigger spawning. Now dedicated cold water fish are not what I'm talking about, trout and other mountain stream fish are a different matter.
