warm water sturgeon

Of all the species, A. ruthensis (Sterlet) tolerttaes the warmest water, as well as not needing salt like the larger species. I've tried keeping them in warm water and it never went well. I have A. Naccarii (adriatic) in with a euro river eel in an unheated tank.
 
What about the Shovelnose (Scaphirhyncus platorhyncus)? I have been looking along time for 3-5 of these to add to my outdoor pond. They come from the Mississippi and stay small around 3ft. Temps from 64-82. Anyone ever kept these guys?
