I wholeheartedly agree with you about the unusually warm winter. Of course this is dependant upon where you live. Just last Friday, it was warn enough that coats were not needed.
I live on the east coast near washington, DC. I think this year was warmer than last year. At the beginning of this years winter season, the pessimists were saying " this was going to be a harsh winter since last year was so mild." I'm the optimist and decided to just wait and see instead of worring about it.
I have always loved snow and continue to enjoy shoveling it by hand and always hope the pessimists are correct in their forcasting. Last night (Saturday) we had 12 inches and at this point in time it's still snowing as I write this post (6:50am Sunday). 1 to 3 inches more is expected before it tapers off about 10am. By the way, I'm in "hog heaven" right now. I can't wait to get outside to put the good ole' show shovels to work. I use two different kinds.
Currently looking out of the sliding door that leads to my deck, there is for sure 12 inches of show piled up. It looks so freash and clean. I only live 10 minutes from Li, so I know he has the same amount at his place. Later, I bet I hear his complaints about shoveling..LOL..LOL .
we had it good up here till last night above freezing last week and no snow woke up to a pile of the white stuff blah!! really miss summer top off the jeep and cruising on the biways all i can think about now is wear did my gloves go and i wish i had bought cloth seats
Doctor....your disgusting. So far no new snow has hit central NY and I really hope it stays that way. I want 50 degree days with calm winds so I can go out and fish!!! Screw shoveling snow.
Welllll??? did you get any snow yet.? The path was supposed to travel straight up Interstate 95. According to the forecast for that area, snow was supposed to fall all over the place there.
Could the forecasters be wrong again for you area.. or was it those darn pesky optimists saying it wouldn't snow?
